Craniosacral Therapy 1, 2 and 3
CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. By complementing the body’s natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of health problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
Reflexology 1 and 2
Reflexology, or zone therapy, is the physical act of applying pressure to the feet and hands with thumb, finger, and hand techniques. The image of the body can be found on the feet and hands. This massage technique can create a physical change to the body. You will learn basic points to help anyone with acute or chronic health problems.
The Feldenkrais Method 1 and 2
This method is a unique approach to the understanding of human learning, movement and function. Its focus is on the practical development of one’s own individual potential and ability. Using two techniques practices the Feldenkrais method: awareness through movement and functional integration. The effects are profound and give an increased sense of well-being and spontaneity. You will learn to improve the way you organize yourself for action. These workshops cover a wide range of human movement: from infant development to high-level performance abilities.
