a Pharmacist and successful businessman with 25 years’ experience, David was forced to re-evaluate his attitude both towards pharmaceuticals and modern medicine as a whole when his 10 year old son Jonathan was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour in 1997.
By introducing Jonathan to a vegan diet, David was able to prolong his sons life far beyond the estimates predicted by medical experts. Following Jonathans passing, David has dedicated himself to the widespread promotion of a macrobiotic lifestyle.
A graduate of the Kushi Institute of Europe, David is a Macrobiotic Counsellor and Teacher and runs a dynamic wholefood store ‘Big Life Organics’ along with a teaching school in the UK with his wife Nicola.
