Little more than 100 years ago all food on our planet earth was grown organically. Today, with a population of 10x more, most food is grown and produced with artificial fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides, and is often highly processed by refining, pasteurization, sterilization, irradiation and, more and more, genetic modification.
What also totally changed is our food pattern. Are we able, with our modern food pattern, to nourish today’s world population organically?
40 Years ago the natural food movement started very small, grass root. Today it is an impressively increasing business, however still less than 1% in the world consumption. How can the natural food farmers, producers and traders create a most successful business in the 21st century, in which China may play a major role.
